Jorgensen Electrical is a family owned and operated contracting buisness since 1965.

In 1958, after immigrating to Australia from Denmark, Erik Jorgensen began working for a small electrical services company in Wacol named Television Electric.  Unfortunately, that company went bankrupt in 1965 but Erik and his wife Aase offered to buy the business and through a lot of hard work successfully turned things around.

Not quite 10 years later and the business was left completely underwater in the 1974 Brisbane flood and in 1975 Television Electric moved to Inala.

This local company saw many young apprentices gain their qualifications over Erik's 27 year as proprietor including his two sons Ken and Allan who eventually took over the reins from Erik. In later years, a son of each also followed in their father's and grandfather's footsteps.
